I am a master’s student in Anthropology at Rutgers University specializing in biological anthropology and human evolutionary sciences. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a concentration in human biology from Temple University in 2021, during which I completed an Environmental Education and Animal Behavior internship at the Philadelphia Zoo, where I conducted behavioral research on Coquerel’s sifaka lemurs using timed focal animal sampling and dyadic sociograms to examine social interactions and allogrooming behavior.
- CURRENT PROJECTS:
Currently, I am working on a lab-based thesis project investigating testosterone and cortisol levels in orangutan urine samples alongside behavioral data, to explore how hormone levels are linked to social behavior and ecological factors in wild populations.
